SRJC’s Sustainable Agriculture classes give students a foundation in plant and soil science, integrated pest management, diverse crop production, and direct promoting techniques though focusing on the ecological underpinnings of agriculture.
The curriculum, developed as a two-year plan, includes classes in soil, plant and animal science, practical gardening expertise, biological pest management, sustainable livestock management, greenhouse design and agricultural advertising and marketing.
